The weather was very cold and perfect for football training.

08:20 to 10:20

We had 11 players

1/Warmup~We did running and dribbling with the ball around the marked pitch.

Progression~We did coordinating exercises where players were passing the ball before making coordinating runs without the ball and getting the ball after the runs and rotating.

2/Technical Drills

The main content was turning,anticipation and passing.In these drills the players would recieve the ball and turn promoting self belief and competitiveness.Players were divided into two groups one with the balls one without.The player with the ball passes to the one without then he controls and dribbles in a 1v1 situation.The one receiving the ball had the option of going through 2 small goals on both ends.The other one defends and they interchange positions.

3/We played a 6v6 match and the players really enjoyed playing the game and there was a lot of improvement in their play and were exchanging passes well.

10:20 to 12:20

We had 16 players

1/Warmup we did dribbling and running with the ball.Progression~We divided players into 4 grroups and played a funny game where players run from their groups and get balls from the centre of the marked pitch to their corner.It was a competition and see who had most number of the balls.Then again players would steal balls from other players corners and take them to their corner.The process would continue in a competitive way and see who had most number of balls after 1minute.

2/Technical Drills

We did running with the ball and dribbling drills.We also did shooting drills whereby players would dribble in and out of the cones before taking a shot on goal.

3/We played a 3v3 match where the players were excited and competing to win.

We had 9 players

Warmup~Running with the ball and progressed by letting players protect their ball from being heat by another player's ball and the players were divided into 2 groups playing the game in a specified area.The loosers would run.

2/Technical Drills

The main content was running with the ball and dribbling where players would run with the ball make a dummy in the middle before running through a small on the right or left depending on the direction they were coming from because they were rotating.These drills encourages players to change direction when faced with an opponent when in motion.There was a lot of tactical awareness in the drills.

3/We played a 5v4 match and the players fared very well exhibiting all the drills learnt.Three players really played well and improved their game.

Tactical awareness drills where? 2 players would be exchange passes running with the ball to the centre of the pitch and interchanging positions but always having to go to the centre first.Players needed to understand the game and think.
