flood作動(dòng)詞的本意是to cover a place with water, or to become covered with water。此處形容了汁水在Tristran嘴中四溢的狀態(tài)。
這讓我想到了water的動(dòng)詞用法文狱，your eyes water指的是tears come out of your eye; make one's mouth water, 指的是饞的流口水营袜，還可以講mouth-watering, if food makes your mouth water, it smells or looks so good you want to eat it immediately.
proper

形容詞proper在英式口語(yǔ)中可以表示real, or of a good and generally accepted standard。比如，我們質(zhì)疑英國(guó)到底有沒(méi)有proper food，這里的proper 近義詞是decent或者real。

這句話實(shí)在貼切。把想把整顆心獻(xiàn)給Victoria的少年Tristran刻畫(huà)的生動(dòng)形象粪滤，不過(guò)一切穿過(guò)Wall前往Faerie的人斧拍，要么是瘋子要么是個(gè)藝人要么就是深陷情網(wǎng)的人，而事實(shí)上lover杖小，兼具了madman和minstrel的特點(diǎn)肆汹。心里已經(jīng)瘋了，頭腦里還在為了自己的愛(ài)人游唱予权。

Summary
Tristran woke up in the morning and had breakfast with the little figure. Tristran found the fried field mushroom was quite delicious food. They set off together and talked to each other along the way. Tristran mentioned Victoria and the fallen star he was determined to get, but the little man suggested him keeping mum about this and told him that he was mad and foolish to do risk finding the fallen star. Tristran knew his way pretty well, he could tell where Paris was even though he had never been there before. The little man had met Dunstan in the past and it seemed aht he knew something about Tristran's origin that Tristran himself did not know about.
Another prince, Tertius, was killed by crafty Septimus. His dead body was ordered to be sent back to Stormhold Castle.
My Words
少年Tristran仍舊不改初心地走在尋找fallen star的路上。不知道為什么笆环，看著看著總會(huì)有很心疼他的感覺(jué)攒至，也許是我會(huì)從17歲的他身上看到曾經(jīng)偏執(zhí)喜歡別人的自己吧。當(dāng)年的自己咧织，也是放話說(shuō)“哪怕他殺人放火我都不在乎嗓袱，我就是喜歡他”。過(guò)了十幾年习绢，我們?cè)缫咽ト魏温?lián)絡(luò)，只是特殊的時(shí)候還是會(huì)發(fā)出gone are the good old days的感慨蝙昙。
他的“敵人”已經(jīng)全部出現(xiàn)了闪萄，有為了爭(zhēng)奪王位而不惜殺掉同胞的Stromhold王子們，有為了青春永駐要挖出星星的心吃掉的女巫婆奇颠。兵分三路败去，再朝著同樣的目標(biāo)前進(jìn)。感恩的是烈拒，似乎Tristran會(huì)遇到一些“貴人”圆裕，也會(huì)解鎖一些本來(lái)就屬于他的magic power广鳍，我想隨著故事的開(kāi)展，Tristran的身世之謎也會(huì)慢慢解開(kāi)吓妆。
前幾天沒(méi)忍住把電影看完了赊时，再回來(lái)看書(shū)，感嘆書(shū)里寫(xiě)的更美行拢。
