This is the very start of a new journey.
I lie on the bed,thinking about what the next four years will be like.Then the last scene of the movie TRUMAN just come into my mind.
That brave man stood in front of the last door that separates he from a real world,smiling,and said'in case I don't see you tomorrow,good morning,good afternoon and good night.'
At first I don't understand what makes this line so important that it is mentioned more than three times in the movie.Now I guess it's truman's attitude towards his own life which this line reflects that really counts.As Jobs put it,live everyday as your last day.Maybe this is also one of the things that help him get through the hardest time on the ocean.And it's also an important life lesson,for him,and for everyone.
After finishing watching,I was wondering, if I was Truman,what will I choose?Continue to live on this small island for the rest of life and pretend knowing nothing,convincing myself that this is the best place in the world;or,step out of that door and face a brand new life where everything is unfamiliar and unknown,which also means you have to give up almost everything you own now.
I don't know.
In fact,we are all trumans.Others watch our lives,comment ?our lives and entertain themselves in this way.But most of us 'accept the reality of the world with which we are presented',we laugh ,we eat,we shout,we run,we just don't want to escape from the fake world and face our hearts.
Why?Perhaps we are afraid that the outside is worse than the world we faked.The director of Truman show said,the place you live in is a sick place,seahaven is the way the world should be.
But still,I would rather believe that experience,even if it's a bad experience,is better than giving up the chance of trying.
So,wish you brave enough to face the real life,and wish you great enough to change the world in your own way~
