August Night
On a midsummer night, on a night that was eerie with stars,
In a wood too deep for a single star to look through,
You led down a path whose turnings you knew in the darkness,
But the scent of the dew-dripping cedars was all that I knew.
I drank of the darkness, I was fed with the honey f fragrance,
I was glad of my life, the drawing of breath was sweet;
I heard your voice, you said, "Look down, see the glow-worm!"
It was there before me, a small star white at my feet.
We watched while it brightened as though it were breathed on and burning,
This tiny creature moving over earth's floor--
" 'L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle,'"
You said, and no more.
八月夜
仲夏夜狸捕，繁星蒼穹點(diǎn)肠阱，
深林徑陌獨(dú)徘徊儒搭，
引向小徑 黑暗里，
唯識(shí)青露香柏*筐骇。
沉醉于夜寂，貪婪著凝香莫杈，
感謝生命的賜予闹瞧，呼吸間的甘甜；
耳邊唧取，你說铅鲤，“看，螢火蟲枫弟！”
呼明吸滅 燃燒著前路
小小的身影晃在人世間
“是慈悲也邢享，動(dòng)太陽而移群星”**
你說，聲音蕩徹夜的呼吸淡诗。

*：此處香柏（cedars）與《圣經(jīng)》相呼應(yīng)驼仪〉《圣經(jīng)》詩篇中提到的的“香柏樹”大都指產(chǎn)于黎巴嫩的香柏樹袜漩⌒靼郑“佳美的樹木，就是黎巴嫩的香柏樹宙攻，是耶和華所栽種的奠货，都滿了汁漿∽颍”
**：“L'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle,” 出自但兜萃铩（Dante）的《神曲》(Divine Comedy)結(jié)束語∫缗悖《神曲》敘述主人公在三十五歲時(shí)迷失方向萍虽，之后在貝雅特麗的關(guān)注與指引下， 游歷了地獄形真、煉獄和天國杉编。
