Barren like the desert,
sandy like the beach.
Thoughtful like the sea,
the feeling to reach.
Your spirit's your courage,
which can never go away.
It helps you find yourself,
and it leads the way.
When you give up,
someone's put you down.
And you can always reach,
so you won't drown.
When you feel put down,
someone's by your side.
Someone who comes and goes,
like the ocean's tide.
That place inside you,
your place of peace.
Where you can center yourself,
and once again become one piece.
The way to happiness,
the way to a new, fresh start.
Your spirit's your guide,
and to follow your heart.
