As China endeavors to promote national modernization, its social and demographic structures are experiencing dramatic changes. To ensure that education can fully meet the needs of socio-economic development, we will establish a system compatible with these shifts to ensure the provision of basic public education services, enhance the high-quality and balanced development of compulsory education, widen access to affordable preschools and expand the diversity of senior high schools. We will devote more resources to address the imbalance and insufficiency of development and increase the inclusiveness, affordability, accessibility of public education services. In addition, we will deploy more digital innovations in the education sector, upgrade public services for life-long learning and build a learning society.
