It's me again today I am going announce that I am going to write a new big topic called the animals, and to I am will write many animals in my article's in the future.
Do you know in this big blue ocean there is 15 kinds of whales, and today we are going to talk about Baleen whales(須鯨).
Whales spend half of their lives swimming around underwater ,but however as mammals they have to come to the surface and breath (there is a hole called nostrils that help them to breath on land.
Baleen whales or to say humpback whales ,they all have no teeth!Yes you didn't hear it wrong they don't have teeth.But instead of teeth they have got some other things that is bristles ,they have got very long bristles called baleen and because of that I think they are called baleen whales never ind of that.They use that to filter small shrimp from water like the filter screen we use in the kitchen but theirs are much bigger than ours.
A adult baleen whales eats little shrimp, and little fish for lives .
Well, the baby baleen whales also drink milks like the other mammals on land 携狭，the newborn calf drinks enough milk every day to fill a bath!
Well, what o it look like ?It is streamlined and the upper part is black and gray, and the abdomen and lower surface of the flippers are usually lighter in color. There are 250-400 baleen growing down the sides of the upper jaw; There are 70 ~ 80 external long furrows on the ventral wall of the mouth and throat, collectively referred to as laryngeal abdominal fold The caudal fin is broad and thick, and the middle notch is obvious.?
