以前我只知道 sound 作動詞有聽起來的意思蚌卤，現(xiàn)在才知道它還有吹響似忧、敲響，發(fā)出...信號的意思术辐；再引申一點(diǎn)，還可以表示 express渡处。

die 除了有死亡的意思，還可以表示以...方式祟辟、狀態(tài)死亡（后面可以接名詞短語医瘫、形容詞）。

business 意思特別多专酗，可以表示生意睹逃、企業(yè)經(jīng)營活動、職責(zé)祷肯，這里的意思是待處理的事情唯卖。

想到之前新概念二第一課學(xué)過“It's none of your business庆锦！”掏膏，還查到一些短語造點(diǎn)句：

在表示不同的意思是 business 前面的介詞也不同：

in business 在經(jīng)營商業(yè)/on business （因公）出差

這里 signal 的意思是（用聲音查乒、動作）發(fā)信號祥得、示意。

造句：If you signal to a taxi during rush hours, you will never be picked up.

感覺經(jīng)常見到 find oneself 這個結(jié)構(gòu)橄碾，但是我用的少卵沉，后面可以接介詞短語、名詞短語法牲、從句等等

at home 和 at ease 是一樣的意思史汗，都表示 comfortable/relaxed，

注釋上寫 take up 在這里的意思是“開始從事”拒垃，但是我查字典發(fā)現(xiàn) take up 有“開始學(xué)”的意思停撞，比如 take up tennis/piano/swimming

在這里 repel 的意思是厭惡命贴，be repulsive or disgust

claim 也是一個意思特別豐富的詞語道宅。在這里意思是值得（注意、思考）胸蛛，一般搭配 claim one's attention/time/effort污茵。

Chapter 5

這里又碰到了 signal，前面學(xué)到 signal 的動詞葬项，打招呼泞当、示意，這里的意思是重要的玷室，相當(dāng)于 significant/important零蓉。

這里 momentous 和前面的 signal 都是重要的笤受、重大的意思穷缤，trivial 是它們的反義詞，happening 意思是發(fā)生的事情箩兽，相當(dāng)于 occurrence津肛，可以說 recent happenings/strange happenings，很簡單一起記下來吧～

evade 這個詞以前只知道在某些地方可以替換 avoid/escape 來使用汗贫，一般都是人作主語身坐。這里 evade 的意思是 fail to understand/think of/remember（想不出秸脱、發(fā)生），和 elude 是同義詞部蛇。例如可以說 The answer evaded me（我回答不上來）摊唇。還可以說 Sleep still evaded me（我還是睡不著）。
