Where are u from
I come from the capital of China - Beijing. It's also the cultural and political centre in China. Its history can date back to Ming Dynasty - that is more than six hundreds years ago. I mean, since then it has been the capital. There are lot of cultural heritage, which I m so proud of.
I love my city. It's my birth place. But I'd been through all its changes. I really hate the way it looks now. The hustle and bustle, the selfish and indifference of people, the lack of resources, you know, every hour is rush hour. It didn't and it shouldn't had looked like this.
People don't protect environment. They don't even care about it. One day I picked up a plastic bag and threw it into the bin. My college mate asked me, "Wow! u r so nice. Do u do it all the time?" I was like, what? isn't it a normal thing? u should feel wired if I don't do so. So I want to do something, but I feel powerless.
When could u do when u were younger that u cannot do now?
If I were a young girl, I would climb trees. Are u astonished? Because actually I was very good at climbing things when I was very young, before 12 years old. But I can't do it now. I have lost this ability for no reason. I want it back deadly. So I would erect a long pillar, as high as possible, and climb it to the very top, maybe create some world records! Cuz you know human beings don't have wings, we cannot fly. So how do we get to high places by ourselves? We climb. May it's out of an instinct.
When do people usually get married in ur country?
I guess approximately, the average age when people get married is 24 in China. But in urban area, there is a tendency among young people to get married around thirty. Some of them are just too busy to meet new friends, others are actually not willing to get settled from inside. Because the incidence of divorce is getting high, more and more young people don't believe in love. And because of the one-child policy, young adults are mostly selfish. Few of them know that marriage is about sacrifice.
When do people usually learn to drive in ur country?
Well, that depends. The rich are able to afford to cars. So their children may learn a driving license just on graduation from high school, when they are legally adults. But for the poor, car is still a luxury. Many people have never touched one steering wheel themselves. What a pity.
