Sometimes we hear a new view or take part in a new lecture,read a new book.We will think our thinking is changed by the new idea.And then our actions are changed.And then our lives will be better and better.But it is no damn use.After a period of time,we'll find out:we don't have any change;we're still the same.And the new ideas have been left behind ourselves.
Why?
We often think that I know an idea then I can do it later.
No.There is a lack of a link in the middle.It is Repeat.
Repeat, repeat, repeat.It's so important that I have to repeat it 3 times.
So, is the 'repeat' that I read the idea many times a day.
No,it's not that simple.
The 'repeat' that I say here is divided into three parts .They respectively correspond to three reasons why we can't do sth after we know it.
1.The first reason : Information Overloading
Every day we receive a lot of information.we think they're all useful.Every time we learn a new knowledge, there is no time to practice it, and then I can't wait to learn the next instructions.Because curiosity is our nature.Curiosity can satisfy us.We learn this and forget about that.And then we never change.
The first solution : Focus and Repeat.
We must admit it:we have no time to learn a lot of new knowledge.We can just focus on what is most important thing for us,and then practice on it.In the end,the purpose is to master it.
2.The second reason : Negative Filtering
When we hear sth which goes to the opposite of our previous experience,the first thing we do is to counter it.And we won't get a new thought from it.
The corresponding solution : Greenlight thinking.
Once we hear a new idea,we give it the green light.We think it is right.And then we think about why it's right.Put the idea of thinking into our ideas.Discard the dross and select the essence.And then we can improve our ideas.
Here is the one sentence Luo Yonghao said:I never speak ill of others since I became a boss.Because when I speak ill of one person,I can't see ?him and his opinion from a positive angle.
3.The third reason: Lack of Follow up
This is simple.There's no need to explain.So I go straight to the solution.
The corresponding solution : Continue to follow up.
Just remember : If you spend an hour studying one thing , you need ten times to get used to it.And then It can help you with your work and your studies.
Many people have not sticked to enough time after learning.They find no progress in imagination.And then they give up.
