Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed
We’re looking forward to completing the review of your app, but we need more information to continue.
Next Steps
Please provide detailed answers to the following questions in your reply to this message in App Store Connect:
- How does the app use the Apple Music APIs?
Guideline 4.0 - Design
We noticed an issue in your app that contributes to a lower-quality user experience than App Store users expect:
- Your app's button text are not written in the same language as your app's English localization. To help users navigate your app, your app's button texts should be in the same language as your app's current localization.
Since App Store users expect apps to be simple, refined, and easy to use, we want to call your attention to this design issue so you can make the appropriate changes.
Next Steps
Please revise your app to address all instances of the issue identified above.

Hello,
Thank you for your resubmission. Upon further review, we identified an additional issue that needs your attention. See below for more information.
If you have any questions, we are here to help. Reply to this message in App Store Connect and let us know.
Guideline 5.1.1 - Legal - Privacy - Data Collection and Storage
We noticed that your app requests the user’s consent to access the photos, but doesn’t sufficiently explain the use of the photos in the purpose string.
To help users make informed decisions about how their data is used, permission request alerts need to explain and include an example of how your app will use the requested information.
Next Steps
Please revise the purpose string in your app’s Info.plist file for the photos to explain why your app needs access and include an example of how the user's data will be used.
You can modify your app's Info.plist file using the property list editor in Xcode.

Guideline 4.3 - Design
We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences.
Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps.
Next Steps
Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality.
Resources
Some factors that contribute to a spam rejection may include:
- Submitting an app with the same source code or assets as other apps already submitted to the App Store
- Creating and submitting multiple similar apps using a repackaged app template
- Purchasing an app template with problematic code from a third party
- Submitting several similar apps across multiple accounts
