《Messenger》是the giver quartet四部曲的第三本嘉裤，這部和第一部《The Giver》和第二部《Gathering the Blue》的人物聯(lián)系在了一起。可見四部還是有關(guān)聯(lián)的簸呈。這一部我看的最輕松，比前面兩部比起來。

《Messenger》講述的是第二部中的Matt(在這部叫Matty)在新的村莊做送信人混巧，這個(gè)村子本來以歡迎陌生人為榮，但是因?yàn)橐还刹恢鞯暮诎盗α壳诳瑢?dǎo)致村莊要關(guān)閉咧党，Matty是唯數(shù)很少的可以穿越森林的人，他要把信息送達(dá)到周圍的入口陨亡。更重要的是他要把Seer的女兒（也就是刺繡人Kira）帶來傍衡。但是森林變得可怕，Matty也發(fā)現(xiàn)自己擁有神秘的力量负蠕。
