> 過(guò)了一陣子，一群孩子陸續(xù)走進(jìn)衣物間蟀悦，取出他們的球具穿上欺抗。之后我們?nèi)縼?lái)到外面渤涌，費(fèi)拉斯教練召集大家斩郎，然后叫我站在大家面前眠砾，介紹我鸳玩。他說(shuō)了一大堆屁話阅虫，我不太聽得懂，因?yàn)槲覈樀冒胨啦桓瑥膩?lái)沒有人當(dāng)著一群陌生人介紹過(guò)我颓帝。不過(guò)后來(lái)有些人過(guò)來(lái)跟我握手，說(shuō)他們歡迎我等等。之后費(fèi)拉斯教練吹了一聲哨子购城，把我嚇得魂都飛了吕座，不過(guò)大家開始跳來(lái)跳去地練習(xí)。
> 接下來(lái)發(fā)生的事可真是說(shuō)來(lái)話長(zhǎng)瘪板，不過(guò)吴趴，總而言之，我開始打美式橄欖球侮攀。費(fèi)拉斯教練和一名打手專門訓(xùn)練我锣枝，因?yàn)槲也欢趺创蚯颉Ｇ蜿?duì)有一招阻擋對(duì)手的戰(zhàn)術(shù)魏身，他們盡力解說(shuō)清楚惊橱，可是練習(xí)幾次之后，大家似乎都厭煩了箭昵，因?yàn)槲铱偸怯洸坏梦以撛趺醋觥?br>
> After a while a bunch of kids started comin into the locker room and takin out they football stuff and gettin into it. Then we all went outside and Coach Fellers got everbody together and he stood me up in front of them and introduced me. He was sayin a bunch of shit that I wadn't followin real close cause I was half scared to death, on account of nobody had ever introduced me before to a bunch of strangers. But afterward some of the others come up and shook my hand and say they is glad I am here and all. Then Coach Fellers blowed a whistle, what like to make me leap outta my skin and everbody started jumpin around to get exercise.
> It's a kind of long story what all happened next, but anyway, I begun to play football. Coach Fellers and one of the goons helped me out special since I didn't know how to play. We had this thing where you supposed to block people and they were tryin to explain it all, but when we tried it a bunch of times everbody seemed to be gettin disgusted cause I couldn't remember what I was sup posed to do.
