有一句關(guān)于金錢觀的話值得思考“first you borrow, then you beg.”，一開始借錢，之后乞討食绿。

其實我們可以看得出老人已經(jīng)變現(xiàn)出孱弱的特征熊尉，猶如夕陽的余暉，不禁讓人感到一絲同情掌腰。

這里的off?是和前面的take?共同組成take…?off?的句型狰住，意思是“把…拿下來”
其實介詞，尤其是方位介詞在表現(xiàn)方向上特別重要（不妨復(fù)習(xí)《全民英語》介詞部分）
and spread it over the back of the chair?鋪在椅子的后背上
spread 意思“攤開”齿梁，不僅可以攤開衣服催植，床單等，也可以表示“伸展”腿腳勺择，像躺在草坪上创南，攤開身體。就可以spread our limbs. 伸開四肢
and over the old man’s shoulders.?

fall forward 向前垂下芥备，這個詞讓人瞬間感覺很奇怪，很容易讓人想到老人已經(jīng)去世舌菜。所以萌壳，字里行間都是老人已經(jīng)接近生命的終結(jié)了。

這肩膀說也奇怪日月，雖然很老邁袱瓮，但是依然強健，脖子也很結(jié)實爱咬。當他睡著了尺借，頭往前傾，皺紋也就不明顯了精拟。

如果是被年老體弱打敗，或許這個故事就已經(jīng)沒有未來了货抄。映入腦海的是老人漸漸失去光彩述召，生命從體內(nèi)一絲絲抽離的場景。

Lay across 是介詞短語蟹地，動詞+副詞=動作+方向积暖。即，動作是“放著”怪与，介詞是“橫跨著”夺刑，也就是“（報紙）橫跨著（雙腿）放著”

多少能看得出這份報紙對老人說可能是難得的“禮物”吧！

breeze 是“微風(fēng)”分别，一般表示春天的柔風(fēng)（a light gentle wind）遍愿，與 wind 相比內(nèi)在含義更豐富。

barefooted [?be??f?t?d] = bare-?（光的耘斩，禿的）+ foot (腳) + ed (形容詞后綴) =?光著腳的
建議記住bare-這個前綴沼填，非常好用，比如括授，bareface 厚顏無恥坞笙；bareback 沒有馬鞍轧邪，barehand 徒手，空手等等羞海。很多單詞忌愚，無師自通。

報紙橫在膝蓋上却邓，胳膊的重量把它壓在那兒硕糊，才沒讓夜晚的風(fēng)刮走，他赤著腳腊徙。

看到的是一個風(fēng)燭殘年的老人獨自躺在椅子上蜜暑，夕陽隨大海漸入沉寂，晚風(fēng)襲來的陣陣涼意策肝。給人的感受是真實的老邁肛捍，然而其中又透著些堅強隐绵，奇怪的肩膀，不屈的脖子拙毫。即使老人年輕時的風(fēng)光不減依许，又是老賴將至的無奈。
