1. In the nick of time緊要關(guān)頭
They arrived in the nick of time to save us.
在緊要關(guān)頭他們正好趕到來救我們。

2. Let the cat out of the bag說出秘密
Their engagement was to be a secret but the ring on her finger let the cat out of the bag.
他們倆的訂婚原本是個秘密虏束，可她手指上的戒指卻將這個秘密泄露了出來。
3. Let the chips fall where they may讓某事發(fā)生厦章，不管是好是壞
I'm going to just try out for the cheerleading squad and let the chips fall where they may.
