Exercise 1
P1: government should use which approach to improve children education is an issue that has been debated; however, ideas should be scrutinized before final conclusion is reached; Personally, I believe the most convincing way is to hire more teachers forming more smaller classes. I feel this way for certain reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
P2: most effective, fewer students in a class, the teachers are able to get to know the learning status of every student, then can adjust the teaching schedule, answer questions in detail and give prompt feedback to homework, then everyone could catch up with the learning and follow the pace together, finally get better scores, learn more and gain long-term interest in study
P3: smaller classes benefit the relationship among classmates and teachers; eg myself, in high school, first 70 people/class, then 30 people/class, we got quite close like a family, eventually had a great time of high school
P4: preschool edu gets children more prepared for preliminary study, teacher training provides higher quality of knowledge delivery; more needs for preschool infrastructure - need a lot investment, training courses require additional expensive advanced teaching resources; therefore, hiring more teachers directly is the most economical
P5: effectiveness, relationship development, economy
Exercise 2
P1: adults have limited access to up-to-date skill training at work, impressionable people may think government should take the responsibility to give money to provide training to all people after 25 years old at workplace. However, such a statement should be examined meticulously. Personally, I do not believe that it will work well. I feel this way for certain reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
P2: not appreciated; the most up-to-date skills can be used as advantage of an employee or a selection standard used by a recruiter; if made general, then both employees and employers have to find new criteria for a job function, which may be much stricter.
P3: not applicable or relevant to everyone; different jobs need different skills; eg. I need the data analysis skills, but do not see any necessity in law or finance training at all
P4: personal will; if a person really needs such a skill, there is always other channel they can find to learn it
P5: acceptance, suitability, personal willingness to learn
