有些不及物動詞可變成及物動詞，此時其后以其同系名詞做賓語滞伟。所謂同系名詞乃指詞源和意義與動詞相同的名詞，其形態(tài)與動詞一樣炕贵，但用法有改變梆奈。
die ---> death (死）；
dream---> dream (夢）称开；
laugh----->laugh(笑）亩钟；
live----> life (生活）；
sigh----->sigh(嘆氣）鳖轰；
sleep----> sleep(睡眠）清酥；
smile---> smile(微笑）。
** dream做不及物動詞需與of連用蕴侣。
