1.定義:在系動詞后面也可跟一個有連接詞引導(dǎo)的句子;
2.系動詞:分為be動詞僧界,后面能接形容詞的感官動詞及相當(dāng)于be動詞用法的實義動詞。

? ? ②后面接形容詞的感官動詞:feel/sound/look/taste/smell等靠欢;
? ?③相當(dāng)于be動詞用法的實義動詞:become/keep/remain等廊敌。

? ? ? ? ? ?We should keep quiet in the classroom.
3.引導(dǎo)詞:
(1)定義:連接主句和從句的詞;
(2)分類:連詞门怪,疑問代詞,疑問副詞锅纺;
? ?連詞:只起連接作用掷空,不作成分,包括that(無意思), if(是否)和whether(是否)囤锉;
? ?疑問代詞:在從句中作主語坦弟,賓語或定語等成分;有what (事情或樣子), which,
who, whose等官地;
? ? 疑問副詞:在從句中作狀語酿傍,有where,
when, why, how等;
? ? 疑問詞:疑問代詞和疑問副詞統(tǒng)稱為疑問詞驱入,關(guān)系詞在從句中作成分赤炒。
4. that引導(dǎo)的表語從句:“主語+系動詞+ that從句”氯析;that不作成分,只起連接主句和從句的作用莺褒;在表語從句中不可省略掩缓,稱作連詞。
e.g. The fact is that he didn’t even take the exam.
????? The trouble is that I have lost the document.
5. wh-疑問詞引導(dǎo)的表語從句:wh-疑問詞引導(dǎo)的從句作“This is”和“That is”的表語時遵岩,它們通常不含有疑問意義你辣,而是分別表示具體的地點,時間尘执,原因舍哄,方式等。其中what(事情或樣子), which, who, whose等為疑問代詞誊锭,作主語表悬,賓語或定語等成分;where(地點), when(時間), why(原因), how(方式)等為疑問副詞炉旷,作狀語签孔。
?e.g. That is why he was late for an hour.
? ? ? ? This is where the great man once lived.
? ? ? ? She is no longer what she was five years ago.
? ? ? ? What is troubling us is where we can find him.??
6.從屬連詞as if, as though, because, just as等引導(dǎo)的表語從句:
?e.g. It looks as if we will be late.
? ? ? ?He looked just as he had looked ten years ago.
7. 注意:
(1)主句的主語是reason時,表語從句要用that窘行,不能用because;
? e.g. The reason(why) he was absent was that he was ill.
? ? ? ? ?The reason why he was dismissed was that he was careless and irresponsible.
(2)引導(dǎo)表語從句只能用whether饥追,不能用if。
?e.g. His first question was whether Tom had arrived yet.
