比較狀語從句
1. 我必須承認，我之前學習沒有你用功。
翻譯：I have to admit that I did not study as hard as you.
答案：I have to admit that I didn’t study as hard as you.
2. 這跟我想得一樣簡單锭沟。
翻譯：It is as simple as I think.
答案：It’s as easy as I think.
解析：

解析：不會像我們說想象/認為的那么艱難/困難屎鳍。用think更符合語境宏娄。

解析：一直很糾結應該用什么詞來指代逮壁，看了答案覺得孵坚，有時候也不能想太多。

翻譯：You care more about work than me.
答案：You care more about your work than you do about me.
解析：工作和我是同類比較卖宠。要加上you do about 才表示。不然就以為是和主語you的比較忧饭。
6. 他英語說得不如你流利扛伍。
翻譯：He doesn't speak English as fluently as you.
答案：He doesn’t speak English as/ so fluently as you.
7. 新建的廣場是以前的四倍大。
翻譯：The newly-built square is four times? ? ? larger than the previous one.
答案：The newly-built square is four times the size of the previous one
8. 長江差不多比珠江長兩倍词裤。
翻譯：The Yangtze River is almost two times longer than the Pearl River.
答案：The Changjiang/ Yangtze River is almost three times longer than the Zhujiang/ Pearl River.
解析：長兩倍刺洒，是3倍長
9.這個手袋的價格是那個的 3 倍。
【重點】
翻譯：The price of this handbag is three times higher than that one.
答案：This handbag is exactly three times more expensive than that one.
解析：答案更簡潔吼砂，用expensive 既表達了價格也表達了貴逆航。
10. 她在這住的時間比我長。
翻譯：She lives here longer than I do.
答案：She has lived here longer than I have.
解析：從過去到現在渔肩，現在完成時因俐。
心得：than 難點總結：
一、后接人稱代詞用主格還是賓格
than既可作連詞也可作介詞
后接人稱代詞時，可用主格也可用賓格女揭。通常在正式文體中多用主格蚤假，在口語或非正式文體中多用賓語栏饮。
Everyone here is taller than I [me].
這兒的每一個人都比我高吧兔。
Her sister swims faster than she [her].
她姐姐游泳比她快。
【重點】人稱代詞后有動詞袍嬉，
只能用主格境蔼。
Everyone here is taller than I am.
這兒的每一個人都比我高。
Her sister swims faster than she does.
她姐姐游泳比她快伺通。
【重點】用主格/賓格會導致意思變化箍土。
I love you more than he (likes you).
我比他更愛你。
I love you more than (I likes) him.
我愛你勝過愛他罐监。
二吴藻、后接動詞用不定式/動名詞
1. 連接兩個非謂語動詞，用一樣的形式
It is much easier to get into debt than to get out of it.
借債容易還債難弓柱。
He likes playing chess more than watching TV.
與看電視相比沟堡，他更喜歡下棋。
比較：
He thinks it is safer to drive himself than (to) let me drive.
=He thinks that driving himself is safer than letting me drive.
他認為他自己開車比讓我開車要更安全矢空。
2. 不是連接兩個非謂語動詞航罗，則其后出現的動詞通常用動名詞形式(雖然也可用不定式，但不如用動名詞普通)屁药。如：
There are worse calamities than failing your driving test.
比起你駕駛考試不合格來說粥血，更大的災難還多著呢。
Nothing gives me more pleasure than listening to Mozart.
再沒有比聽莫扎特的樂曲更讓我高興的事了酿箭。
Nothing is more unpleasant than finding [to find] insects in your bath.
最使人不快的是在浴室里發(fā)現有蟲子复亏。
三、引導比較狀語從句的時態(tài)問題
＊than引導的比較狀語從句與主句動作不一致缭嫡，可根據情況使用適當時態(tài)缔御。
He drives faster than he did a year ago.
他開車比一年以前快了。
The house is rather bigger than we thought.
這所房子比我們想的大得多械巡。
＊若主句為將來時刹淌，than引導的從句可用現在時表將來，也可直接用將來時讥耗。
We'll probably drive faster than you do [will].
我們開車可能會比你們快有勾。
四、引導比較狀語從句的倒裝問題
than引導比較狀語從句時古程，從句語序通常不倒裝蔼卡，但正式文體中，有時也可倒裝挣磨。
City dweller have a higher death rate than country people do.
=City dweller have a higher death rate than do country people.
城市居民死亡率比農村居民高雇逞。
五荤懂、引導比較狀語從句且從句中充當成分
＊有時可引導一個從句并在從句中充當句子成分(主語、賓語塘砸、表語)节仿，為便于理解，有時可視為than后省略了what：
We don't want to do more than is necessary.
我們不想做不必要的事情掉蔬。
The pain was almost more than he could bear.
這樣的痛苦幾乎使他受不了廊宪。
She's not a very good manager she always spends more money than she earns.
她不大會理財——總是入不敷出。
Life here is much easier than it used to be. 如今在此地生活比起從前可舒服多了女轿。
＊than后的expected為省略結構：
He returned three days earlier than (he was) expected.
他回來得比預料的要早三天箭启。
六梅尤、后接時間或條件狀語從句
若語義需要炎滞，其后可接when引導的時間狀語從句以及if 引導的條件狀語從句。
You are a little fatter than when I saw you last.
你比我上次見你時胖點了湾盒。
Joe carries only nine pounds more than when he was twenty.
喬比他20歲時只重了九磅北救。
They work better together than if they are alone.
他們一起干比他們單干效果要好荐操。
七、同質比較還是異質比較 【重點】
than 通常用于兩個不同的人或物在同一方面進行比較扭倾，但有時指的可能是同一個人或物在兩個不同的方面進行比較淀零，此時只用于more…than…結構，而不能用 –er…than…的形式(即使是單音節(jié)也是如此)膛壹，這類結構通臣葜校可譯為“與其……不如……”“有……無……”。
He's more fat than short.
與其說他矮不如說他胖模聋。
They are more brave than wise.
他們有勇無謀肩民。
If we tell him about it, it may do more harm than good.
倘若我們把情況告訴他，那可能弊多利少链方。
八持痰、與never (a) 連用
＊有時than與帶有never (a) 的比較級結構連用，表示強調祟蚀，通常表示最高級的含義工窍。
I've never had a worse morning than today.
我哪一天早上也不像今天早上這樣倒霉。
＊若意思明確前酿，有時可省略than結構患雏。
He is fine, never better. 他很好，比以往任何時候都好罢维。
I've never seen a finer bird. 我從未見過比這更美的鳥淹仑。
I've never found a better job. 這是我找到的最好的工作。
九、than any other后接名詞用單數
than any other后接名詞時通常用單數形式匀借。
He swims faster than any other student in his class.
他比班上的其他任何學生都游得快颜阐。
More heat is lost through the head than any other part of the body.
從頭部散發(fā)的熱量比身體的其他任何部位都多。
十吓肋、幾組容易理解出錯的than習語
1.“no +比較級+than”與“not +比較級+than”
(1) “no +比較級+than”用于否定兩者凳怨，表示“與……一樣不”，其義大致相當于其中形容詞或副詞的反義詞用于as…as…結構蓬坡。如：
He is no richer than a beggar.
=He is as poor as a beggar.
他窮如乞丐猿棉。
This one is no better than that one.
=This one is as bad as that one.
這個與那個一樣不好磅叛。
(2) “not +比較級+than”的意思是“不比……更”“不如”屑咳。如：
He is not richer than you.
他不如你富有。
This one is not better than that one.
這個不如那個好弊琴。
2. no less than, no less...than 與 not less than
(1) no less than 有兩個意思：
一表示“多達”“有……之多”兆龙，強調數量多
二表示“簡直”“與……沒有差別”。
We walked no less than three miles.
我們走了三英里之遠敲董。
We won no less than ￡500 in a competition.
我們在一次比賽中就贏了500英鎊紫皇。
It is no less than robbery to ask for so much.
要這么多，簡直跟搶劫沒什么兩樣腋寨。
(2) no less...than
意為“與……一樣”“不比……差”聪铺，
強調兩者具有同等性。
He is no less wise than you.
他跟你一樣聰明(他并不比你笨)萄窜。
A dolphin is no less a clever animal than a dog is.
海豚與狗同樣都是聰明的動物铃剔。
(3) not less than 意為“不下于”“至少”。
He has no less than seven daughters.
他有七個女兒之多查刻。
He has not less than seven daughters.
他至少有七個女兒键兜。
3. no more than, no more…than與not more than
(1) no more than
表示“僅僅”“只有”“只不過”，
強調程度低或數量少穗泵。
He is no more than an ordinary English teacher.
他只不過是個普通的英文老師普气。
He has no more than three shirts.
他只有3件襯衫。
(2) not more than 表示“至多”佃延，
與at most同義现诀。
He has not more than three shirts.
他最多只有3件襯衫(或許還不到3件)。
(3) no more...than 表示對兩者都否定,
意為“既不……也不”“同……一樣不”履肃。
He is no more a writer than a painter.
他既不是畫家仔沿，也不是作家。
A whale is no more a fish than a horse is. 如同馬不是魚一樣榆浓，鯨也不是魚于未。
