Author's Biography
- Alan Deutsch, August 2016, Shanghai
Alan is a youthful, witty young author at 12 going on 13 years old. He is inspired by writing, and strives to make pieces that he can admire himself. He believes that life is a journey and we should cherish each and every step of the way.
Alan began his journey in the mysterious place of Houston, Texas. He then slowly worked his way East and lived in New Jersey for the majority of his life. Finally, he made the long trip all the way to Shanghai, China, where he currently lives with his mom. Alan also believes that one's journey is not solely made from where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. Instead he believes that it's the little things that shape us into who we are. I quote Alan himself: "Life is not comprised of what we know, it's about what we don't know. The things you do know, like where you live, what grade you're in, and how old you are make up a big chunk of what you are, but not who you are. It's our little hobbies and activities that truly transform everyone into a unique human being."
For Alan, writing has always been a passion that he has grown fond of over the years. He's definitely not done with improving as a writer and a person in general, no one is.
