Grammar: a must-learn
Grammar is not fixed: there are exceptions. Oral English is full of grammatical faults.??? 硬性規(guī)定prescriptive and 描述性 descriptive(用得多了變成了對的)
eg. literally= actually叫搁，almost?
eg. She died young. 她死得早??? I came prepared. 有備而來
My French tutor said exactly the same thing. I hereby assume that English and French are allies. Par exemple, le passé composé.
Get down to the nitty-gritty.
some radio 很棒的收音機(jī);?????? 在過去14年中我常常來北京；? 落枕了I slept funny.(funny不舒服)
When you smell sth fishy, you should check. ?
主干：A desire 新的想法的欲望might give way to the desire
語序不是固定的
In most cases, "which is" is redundant.
Note some grammatical phenomena and learn to use them.
or: used to show that a word or phrase means the same as, or explains, limits, or corrects, another word or phrase
Day:白晝
很長時間很窮 I spent a good part of my life being poor.
There is no such thing as a free lunch.
Read through a book on grammar twice.
Personal Review
I was so frustrated when I heard that it took Eric simply TWO hours to read through an issue of The Economist. Even more so when he said NONE of our writings are flawless.
But, you can only improve your English through mistakes. Without them, your efforts are in vain. Note down your mistakes on a small pad, turning them into your competitve weapon.
Besides, read English grammar books. Get down to the nitty-gritty. Do spend a good part of your life learning grammar.
