大白若辱;大方無隅芍耘；大器晚成；大音希聲熄阻；大象無形斋竞；道隱無名。夫唯道秃殉，善貸且成坝初。
譯文:
最潔白的東西，反而含有污垢复濒；最方正的東西脖卖，反而沒有棱角；最大的聲響巧颈，反而聽來無聲無息畦木；最大的形象，反而沒有形狀砸泛。道幽隱而沒有名稱十籍，無名無聲蛆封。只有“道”，才能使萬物善始善終勾栗。
我的翻譯:
The purest thing seems to be dirty.
The? largest square seems no edges.
The greatest sound seems to be silent.
The greatest image seems? no shapes.
The great Dao has no shape or name.
But? only can the great Dao support? all things to fulfill well.
