【Foreword】
Do you love your country??
The answer is definitely yes. Because I was born here, grew up here, and owned endless happiness and also sorrows here. My family and my friends also live here, and I have so many dreams unrealized here. If you ask me how many wonderful things here, ?I may tell you that China is a unique country on the earth, just like the USA is unique in the world, and the UK is the sole country in the world. That uniqueness marking our homeland makes it an intimate and sole thing in our minds, to be more specific, in that of ?most folks who share the same feeling with me.
So, what’s the specialty about China? It’s not an easy question to be answered in several words or sentences. Surely, everyone holds different sentiments towards his country, his hometown, which may closely connected with his surroundings during grown up, the people he familiar with, the experience he met in life’s ongoing journey.
Hereby, I shall reduce my main arguments to the following three points:
? I live here, my family lives here, my friends are here; all my memories are here;
? It’s a charming country with long history and rich culture, which decide its richness and complexity deserving much more curiosity and patience and also talents to discover its majesties as more as possible.
? Though many tough issues it has in present days, this does not mean we must abhor or disdain it instead of understanding with love and tolerance. One thing we should also admit is that our country is growing up not merely in its economy but also the opening-up in culture. This maybe not enough but indeed happen, when compared with the past decades. Everyone who lives in this land must hold a wish that it will become brighter and stronger in the coming years. But this needs the joint efforts of us, not merely a Party, but also all the individuals.
