Atlas（阿特拉斯）
Do you know that the Atlantic Ocean in English actually means “sea of Atlas”? Atlantis, the legendary and mysterious island believed to represent lost civilization, could be interpreted（翻譯） as “island of Atlas”.
你知道嗎？在英語(yǔ)中“大西洋（Atlantic）”的意思是“阿特拉斯和傅校”盯滚；那個(gè)代表了失落文明的傳奇神秘島嶼“亞特蘭蒂斯”，則可以翻譯成“阿特拉斯島”酗电。
In modern English, atlas refers to a book of maps or charts（圖表）. In Greek mythology, Atlas was one of the Titans who revolted（反抗） against the Olympians in the war Titanomachy（提坦之戰(zhàn)）.
在當(dāng)代英語(yǔ)中魄藕，atlas指的是地圖冊(cè)。在希臘神話中撵术，阿特拉斯是提坦巨人之一背率。在“提坦之戰(zhàn)”中，他們是奧林匹斯山眾神的敵人
When the Titans were defeated, most of them were confined（關(guān)押） to Tartarus, but Zeus condemned Atlas to stand at the western edge of Gaea and hold up the sky on his shoulders, preventing the two from resuming their primordial embrace.
