抓住手帕俗他，擦鼻子仑嗅，擤鼻涕。seize, blow, sniffle，配合上介詞赂韵，形象而生動。

chime and glisten

作者很喜歡用chime這個動詞，chime和glisten一起出現(xiàn)的頻率也比較高。chime是指to ring脉漏，glisten是指to shine，一個聽覺一個視覺袖牙，雙重描述（the crystal snowdrop）非常精準侧巨。

The sun set, and a huge spring moon appreared, high already in the heavens. A chill breeze blew.

這兩個句子描寫環(huán)境，依照了時間先后順序和空間從上到下的順序鞭达，雖然都是短句和小詞司忱，但所以讀起來很有美感。

entertain

三個entertain出現(xiàn)在這段描述當中畴蹭，表示的意思不完全相同烘贴。前兩個entertain表示to consider or allow yourself to think about an idea, a hope, a feeling, etc. 常見搭配有entertain hopes/a doubt等。第三個entertain指的是to invite people to eat or drink with you as your guests撮胧。【這讓我回想起看音樂劇《漢密爾頓》的時候老翘，小喬連續(xù)用了四五個subject芹啥，均表示不同含義】

burning

burning eyes是指熱烈的墓怀、強烈的汽纠，burning還可以指興趣濃厚或者欲望強烈的。造句：I have a burning desire to become a foreign language teacher.

dawn grey

dawn grey用來形容天亮前的灰色傀履，太貼切了虱朵。

waste away

She wastes away. She drinks a little ewater from time to time.

變消瘦;變衰弱 If someone wastes away, they become extremely thin or weak because they are ill or worried and they are not eating properly.

Summary

The story continued as Dunstan went to the fair where he met a faerie girl and bought a snowdrop at the price of a kiss on her fair cheek. The two young people made a promise to meet at night, and when they met outside on the grass, they were both undoubtedly under a spell and made love to each other.

The fair ended, and the life in Village of Wall returned to normal. Dunstan married Daisy in June and they lived a peaceful life raising sheep. On a cold Feburary winter night, a basket appeared at the wall in which a baby boy and a note were found. The boy, Tristran Thorn, was son of Dunstan and the Faerie girl.

My words

故事情節(jié)發(fā)展迅速，全程認真讀沒有想快進翻頁钓账。讀到這個部分碴犬，我已經徹底被作者的文字功力所折服，每當讀到對于環(huán)境描述和人物的動作與心理時梆暮，都忍不住多幾遍想要背下來服协。星空下草地上，兩個年輕人顫抖又炙熱的肌膚相親啦粹，以及這之后的些許悔恨和迷茫偿荷，作者都刻畫地很自然。

學到了很多花的說法唠椭，同時記下了一些少女心爆棚的描述跳纳，打算改寫之后自己用出來贪嫂。

小說的讀法大概是一口氣讀到天黑寺庄，我時停不住讀到了天亮。
