好些朋友問我要A Cup of Life的雙語對照歌詞饵溅。
受朋友之托崎逃，幫個忙而已, and I had a bit of fun along the way. 這種東西不好翻，勉強為之，難出得意之作(as if I had any)，自己越看越心虛皮胡，沒打算示眾。但現(xiàn)在這首歌面世了赏迟，那就獻(xiàn)個丑吧屡贺。
上個月中，主創(chuàng)人員找到我哥們，說要請人把一首新歌的歌詞翻成英文烹笔。
哥們轉(zhuǎn)給我裳扯，讓我試試抛丽。
我就“試試”唄谤职。
她們拿到英譯，很喜歡亿鲜，說：就按英文歌詞唱出來允蜈，同時把它譯回中文，再譯成日文蒿柳。（我心想：早知如此就原創(chuàng)了饶套，譯文前后兩部分的氣質(zhì)，從林黛玉到知心大姐的跳躍也就不會這么突兀了垒探。晚矣妓蛮。）
策劃的是一首中文歌，現(xiàn)在發(fā)行的是英文歌圾叼，原因在此蛤克。
英譯一氣呵成，未經(jīng)雕琢夷蚊，that much is true. Also true is the fact that 下面貼出來的是原始完整版构挤，一字未動。
據(jù)我所知惕鼓，當(dāng)時還沒給中文歌詞譜曲筋现，所以譯者不必考慮英譯版是否能唱，把意思(and 意境, if possible)翻出來就行箱歧。That amount of wiggle room gave me the licence not to worry about the metre. （我的一些朋友就沒這樣的發(fā)揮空間矾飞，ta們把已流行的華語歌曲翻成外文，還能唱出來呀邢，那才是燒腦的真功夫呢Ｈ髀佟）
后來主創(chuàng)人員作了大幅刪節(jié)，調(diào)整了個別字詞驼鹅，就進(jìn)入譜曲微谓、演唱、制作输钩、發(fā)行程序了豺型。
因此現(xiàn)在聽到的歌詞，比下面這個原版要短买乃。
