奧米過完7歲生日party勘高，一臉失落地回到了自己的小房間图云。有一只貓的愿望又落空了。媽媽總是不肯松這個口聊疲。他是多么想要一只貓凹獗肌搭儒！在任何地方看到一只貓穷当，他都會湊上前去，貓兒大多也不躲他淹禾。他覺得他能懂得貓的各種行為馁菜，情緒，叫聲铃岔，甚至汪疮，他覺得自己就是一只貓』傧埃可是铲咨，媽媽是那么厭惡那些毛茸茸的小動物。
奧米在小床上翻來翻去蜓洪，和這7月的天氣一樣煩躁纤勒，朦朦朧朧睡不著。正迷糊間隆檀，忽然聽見窗外有一聲輕輕的貓叫摇天。“是Rogue!” 奧米一下子清醒過來恐仑，跳下床跑到窗邊泉坐。Rogue叫聲特別溫柔，并有著獨特的發(fā)音裳仆。他晚上經(jīng)常從窗戶看到Rogue 跑來跑去腕让，在各家串門，白天就見得少得多歧斟。她有時候是獨自行動纯丸，有時候則帶著一只黑貓或者花貓。Rogue 也時而不時拜訪奧米的小屋静袖，但從沒有被奧米家人發(fā)現(xiàn)過觉鼻。

Rogue從小窗躥進(jìn)奧米的小房間萍嬉，跳到桌子邊的一個軟椅上，又叫了幾聲隙疚。突然間壤追，奧米比以前任何時候都完全地聽懂了她說的話，根本不需要猜測：“奧米供屉，你知道有個貓咪博物館嗎行冰？”

奧米正想和那只貓聊兩句暂雹，展廳門外忽然直立走進(jìn)來一只穿著深藍(lán)T恤首装，戴著眼鏡的瘦長藍(lán)貓，Rogue 喊了聲“貓叔~” 貓叔走近Rogue杭跪，又轉(zhuǎn)身看了看奧米仙逻，問Rogue：“這就是你說的那個孩子奧米嗎？”
“對的涧尿，我把他帶過來了系奉。我任務(wù)完成啦，先溜啦～”
“hi姑廉，奧米缺亮，很高興看到你～” 貓叔伸出一只爪子搭了下奧米的手臂：“我是貓叔，這里的負(fù)責(zé)貓桥言。Rogue 和你說過貓星球了吧萌踱？你想去貓星球嗎？”
“想～～不過号阿，Rogue 只提到一點點貓星球虫蝶，您能給我詳細(xì)說說嗎？”

貓叔又轉(zhuǎn)了語調(diào)說：“不過當(dāng)然喇完，貓對老鼠威脅性還是很大的伦泥。我們可能只是抓來玩兒，順帶練手锦溪，小老鼠卻可能會因此喪命不脯。即使文明規(guī)定不允許傷害小老鼠，不在一個力量等級上刻诊，還是很容易造成傷害防楷。所以如果有貓兒說自己的‘心理種屬’是老鼠，老鼠們不要相信他则涯，除非他除去那些能造成傷害的硬件复局，并給了老鼠們足夠的考察時間來證明冲簿。”
