① in the family way
多用于口語，有了孩子才有一個真正的家庭
Did you hear the good news? Emily is in the family way!
你知道那個好消息了嗎骑歹，艾美莉懷孕啦预烙！
② be having/carrying a baby/child
使用該短語時，需注意時態(tài)是進行時道媚。
I have the good news for you that I am having/carrying a baby/child.
我有好消息要告訴你扁掸，我懷孕了。
③ expecting
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first baby.
哈里王子和梅根·馬克爾正期待著他們第一個孩子的到來最域。
④ eating for two
不是“吃兩人份”谴分，而是“（為了）兩個人吃”，即自己和肚子里的寶寶羡宙。
Have some more. You're eating for two.
多吃點狸剃， 你現(xiàn)在是兩個人吃了。
⑤ have a blessed event
“有喜事（指懷孕）”狗热，這與中文“家里有喜钞馁、家有喜事”相對應(yīng)。

⑥ in delicate condition
委婉語僧凰，暗示懷孕。這里的delicate指的是（由于懷孕）而身體脆弱熟丸。

⑦ have a bun in the oven
bun是小圓面包，oven是烤箱绩鸣，字面意思是“面包在烤箱里面”怀大，實際意思是指“胎兒、懷孕”呀闻。
