"The coldest place in the world" is the story of the early 20th century expedition to the South Pole. In the summer of September 8, 1910, the Norwegian Amundsen was eager to find a way to take the lead in the harsh climate, and had to return to the camp in the midst of great danger. At this time, the norwegians were divided, and Johansen, with two others, withdrew from the expedition. On October 20, 1910, the norwegians set out again, and this time all went well. On December 24, 1911, they first arrived at the South Pole, becoming the first people on earth to reach the South Pole. On October 24, 1910, the British, led by Scott, set out for the South Pole. Due to lack of preparation, the journey progressed very slowly. There are all kinds of serious accidents in the middle of the road. There were 11 people on the way, but when they arrived at the South Pole on January 17, 1912, there were only five. On the way back, they were sick and stranded, and all died, leaving a strong page for the Antarctic expedition.
