Papa, Please Get the Moon
爸爸，請為我摘月亮
Before Monica went to bed she looked out of her window and saw the moon. The moon looked so near.
有一天晚上挑豌，小姑娘莫妮卡正要上床 覺安券，突然，她透過窗戶看到了天上的月亮浮毯。月亮又大又圓完疫，看起來距離莫妮卡非常非常地近。
"I wish I could play with the moon," thought Monica, and reached for it.
“好想和月亮玩啊债蓝】呛祝”莫妮卡說著，把自己的小手向月亮伸去饰迹。
But no matter how much she stretched, she could not touch the moon.
可是芳誓，她伸啊伸啊，怎么也都夠不到月亮啊鸭。
"Papa," said Monica to her father,"Please get the moon for me."
“爸爸锹淌，你幫我把月亮摘下來好嗎？”她對爸爸撒嬌說赠制。)
Papa got a very long ladder.
于是赂摆，爸爸就找來一個好長好長的梯子，
He carried the very long ladder toward a very high mountain.
然后钟些，爬到了一個很高很高的山上烟号。
Then Papa put the very long ladder on top of the very high moutain.
他把長長的梯子搭在了高高的山頂上，不停地往上爬著爬著政恍。
Up and up and up he climbed.
終于汪拥，爸爸爬到了月亮上。
Finally, Papa got to the moon, "My daughter Monica would like to play with you, but you are much too big" said Papa.
“我的女兒特別想和你一起玩” 他對月亮說篙耗，“不過迫筑，你這么大，我沒法帶回去啊”宗弯。
"Every night I get a little smaller," said the moon. "When I am just the right size you can take me with you."

And, indeed, the moon got smaller
and smaller.
果然，從那之后，月亮越來越小坟募，

When the moon was just the right size, Papa took it.
最終它變成可以隨身攜帶的大小,爸爸摘到月亮，拿在手中
Down and down and down he climbed.
一點點從梯子上面爬了下來懈糯。
"Here," said Papa to Monica, "I have the moon for you."
“莫妮卡涤妒，這是你想要的月亮，給你赚哗！”
Monica jumped and danced with the moon.
莫妮卡非常地高興她紫，她捧著月亮，和它一起蹦啊屿储，跳啊……
She hugged the moon and threw it into the air.
時而緊緊抱著它贿讹，時而又把它高高拋起
But the moon kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller, and finally it disappeared altogether.
月亮還是越來越小，越來越小够掠，最后呼得一下消失了民褂。
Then, one night, Monica saw a thin sliver of the moon reapear.
幾天之后，莫妮卡在天上發(fā)現(xiàn)了纖細的月亮疯潭。
Each night the moon grew.....

And grew..
